New Books

Alice in Central Park -- Conversations with the Statues,
a FOTOBS® Book by G. A. Mudge, will appear in the fall of 2005 as the first of a series.

The new books continue the exciting adventures of the Alice characters on the other side of a new looking glass, Mudge's camera lens. Photographs document the encounters of the Alice characters with each other, with other statues in Central Park and with visitors to the Park. Each encounter is a unique combination of pictures of and conversations with the statues. Many conversations are quotations from the marvelous text of the two Alice books written by Lewis Carroll.

Alice asked "... what is the use of a book without pictures and conversations?"

Mudge asks "... what is the use of a statue without pictures and conversations."

The Alice in Central Park books will make sculpture in the Park a central theme and present the statues as a new way of experiencing the Park.
